Solar Circles

Are open circles which welcome all people of UUCA, as well as the general public. Seasons are celebrated with folklore and ancient traditions. We've danced the May Pole on May day, dyed eggs on Easter, and made masks for All Hallows Eve, and sun in a circle of light on the Winter Solstice.

Full Moon Women's Circles

Who are These Wild Women Who Participate in Full Moon Circles?
We are wives, grandmothers, mothers, daughters, granddaughters, sisters, nieces, and members of the church, who crave an earth based spirituality. We meet in an all women space to socialize with like minded souls, shed our roles as caregivers, and just be with the girls. We share what we've learned with songs, drumming, meditation and dances. We often borrow from history, folklore and Native American traditions. We create art projects, and share our hopes and dreams for peaceful lives, and a loving environment.

About the Labyrinth Theme

In the Spring of 2002 Full Circle created a rope labyrinth in the UU Church of Annapolis secondary parking lot for the Spring Equinox event. This rope labyrinth is still maintained for church members and the public to enjoy. In August 2002, Full Circle held a fund raiser in hopes to design a more permanent labyrinth garden at this location. The project is still in it's beginning stages, and is supported by the UUCA Church Board, and several other Church groups. Please e-mail Kay if you are interested in this helping with this project.
