PBCUUPs Monthly Drumming
Stream Ohrstrom will be leading a drumming circle and teaching various drumming rhythms at Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church in 10 2-hour sessions on the first Sundays of each month,October through July, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

The cost of the full 10 months is $45. There is a "drop-in" fee of$10 per session for people who wish to drum only occasionally.Stream is an excellent teacher and the circles are friendly and relaxed.Don't worry if you don't have a drum. Stream will have drums foranyone who doesn't have one. If you want to join the drummingcircle, just show up

Cedar Grove Imbolc Ritual
February 8, in
Baltimore join us by 4 oclock for our Imbolc Ritual. We'll be starting the rite at 4, but we will begin gathering around 3 or so.

March 23, we'll be celebrating Ostara. We're planning to make a day of it, starting with Rites of Caffeina at
10am and culminating in a ritual around 4 or 5. We're going to try to get some yard work done if the weather is nice.

Honoring the Ancestors
Hellenotamiai, a Demos of Hellenion, a local Hellenic Reconstructionist congregation, invites you to an open ritual celebration of Anthesteria on Sunday, February 9, 2003, beginning promptly at 1 p.m. During this traditional Greek rite, we will be honoring our ancestors; please be prepared to relate a story about your ancestors (e.g., a noble act, something humorous, etc.). A potuck feast follows; please bring a dish to share.

A lecture a month for six months will be given at the Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church, 3215 Powder Mill Road, Adelphi, MD.Our guest speakers will be members of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel, a legally recognized 501c3 Wiccan non-profit religious organization, based in the Mid-Atlantic region. Admission is $12.00 with a canned food donation for our S.O.M.E collection (So Others May Eat) or $15.00. Each lecture will begin promptly at
2 p.m. and end at 5 p.m. All funds received during these lectures will be donated 100% to the New Alexandrian Library Project.No one is turned away for lack of funds, all donations are gladly accepted.
